Days Sipi Falls & Jinja tour adventure takes you East of the country through Mukono, Jinja, Mbale & Kapchorwa towns of Uganda. Jinja will welcome us to the Source of the Nile while the Sipi Falls comprises of 3 waterfalls all near and in view of Mountain Elgon near the western side of Kenya. The area around Sipi offers a breathtaking moment with a cool environment mostly with fresh air coming down from Mountain Elgon. It can be a great place to visit and relax after hiking around the 3 waterfalls.

Sipi Falls area also offers most of the Mountain Elgon climbing and hiking starting points with the most popular route of Budadiri which follows the Sasa trail to the summit which descends back down to the Sipi trail of Sipi falls.

You will be picked up from your Hotel, place of residence or preferred pick-up point at 7:00 am for the start of your 2 days Jinja & sipi falls adventure tour East of Kampala. Jinja is about 80km while Kapchorwa is about 235 kilometers from the main capital of Kampala. Get some briefing from our driver guide and drive along Jinja road, drive on the outskirts of Jinja town, and finally, the source of the Nile, continue through Iganga town and Mbale town to Sipi region in Kapchorwa district.

The journey is likely to take a full day as we have many stopovers with site seeing to see the rice plantations, Swamps with some birding, view of mountain Elgon and unwind the day with a relaxation at the Sipi River Lodge for a coffee and briefing from the Local Guide. about the next day’s program.

Great night out there with the hissing sounds of the waterfalls. Have an early breakfast on your second day. Start the day with a tour of the community, and coffee plantations with a walk and hike near the waterfalls overlooking the River Lodge and eventually visit the other 2 waterfalls. The tour will take you about 3 hours or 3 hours & 30 minutes but this depends on your physical ability as reaching the main waterfalls is steep as you go down and hilly as you climb back. All this journey takes you through the community with great views of the Hilly areas around. Return later for a late lunch, and drive back to Kampala.
